Territory Sales Officer
As a Territory Sales Officer at British American Tobacco (BAT), you will play a critical role in executing the company's trade marketing and distribution strategy at the territory level. Your responsibility will be to ensure market presence, product availability, visibility, and volume growth through strategic relationship-building and territory management.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and grow the assigned territory by ensuring the availability and visibility of BAT products across retail channels.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key partners.

Execute marketing and promotional activities in line with company strategies.

Monitor sales performance, collect market intelligence, and provide insights on competitor activities.

Ensure the effective implementation of route plans and sales cycles.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, market share goals, and distribution KPIs.

Support the roll-out of new products and initiatives within the territory.

Provide feedback and reports to the Area Manager or Regional Sales Manager regularly.
Qualifications & Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in sales or trade marketing, preferably in FMCG or a similar industry.

Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Ability to work independently and take initiative.
-
Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
