Territory Sales Officer (TSO)

Job Summary:

Reckitt Benckiser (Bangladesh) PLC is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Officer to oversee sales operations and distributor management in assigned territories. The ideal candidate will drive sales growth, expand market share, and ensure the visibility and availability of Reckitt's products in retail channels.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Distribution Management
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets in the assigned territory.
- Ensure proper distribution and availability of all RB products at the retail level.
- Implement trade promotions and product launches effectively.
Market Coverage & Retail Execution
- Plan and execute daily market visits, covering all routes and priority outlets.
- Increase numeric and weighted distribution by acquiring new retail outlets.
- Ensure visibility standards through proper merchandising and POS material placement.
Distributor Handling
- Manage and support distributor operations including stock planning, secondary sales tracking, and financial reconciliation.
- Train and motivate distributor sales representatives to ensure optimal route productivity.
- Monitor distributor inventory and ensure adequate stock levels at all times.
Reporting & Analysis
- Provide timely sales reports, competitor intelligence, and market feedback to the Area Sales Manager.
- Analyze territory performance and propose corrective actions where needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (MBA preferred).
1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or consumer healthcare.
Fresh graduates with a strong passion for sales are also encouraged to apply.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Sound analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
