 Territory Sales Manager



The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and enhancing brand presence within the assigned territory. The TSM will act as the primary link between BSRM Group and the local market, ensuring timely service, effective communication, and market intelligence gathering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achievement:

    • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

    • Manage and grow the customer base by acquiring new clients and maintaining relationships with existing customers.

  • Market Development:

    • Identify new business opportunities within the territory.

    • Develop and implement territory-specific sales plans.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Maintain regular interactions with dealers, retailers, project clients, and influencers (e.g., engineers, architects, contractors).

    • Provide technical and commercial support to customers.

    • Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints.

  • Reporting and Data Management:

    • Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.

    • Track competitor activities and market trends; provide insights to management.

  • Promotional Activities:

    • Organize dealer meets, technical seminars, and promotional campaigns in the territory.

    • Ensure brand visibility through effective merchandising and branding initiatives.

  • Credit Control:

    • Monitor customer credit limits and ensure timely payment collections in collaboration with the finance department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably in the building materials or steel industry.

  • Strong knowledge of territory management, channel sales, and project sales.

Skills Required:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

  • Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
