 Territory Sales Manager 



Job Summary

Nestlé Bangladesh is looking for a dynamic and motivated Territory Executive to join our Sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and brand visibility within your assigned territory. You will work closely with retailers, distributors, and partners to ensure Nestlé products are widely available and well-presented to consumers. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent relationship-building skills, and a passion for the food and beverage industry.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Target Achievement:

    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned products within the designated territory.
  2. Territory Planning and Management:

    • Develop and implement a strategic plan to maximize sales opportunities and product distribution.
    • Conduct regular market visits to monitor the performance of retailers and distributors.
  3. Distributor Management:

    • Manage relationships with distributors to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely product replenishment.
    • Provide guidance and support to distributors to achieve business goals.
  4. Market Development:

    • Identify and explore new sales opportunities to increase market share and brand visibility.
    • Assist in launching new products and implementing promotional campaigns to boost sales.
  5. Retailer Engagement:

    • Build strong relationships with key retailers to ensure product placement and visibility.
    • Conduct product training sessions for retailers to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
  6. Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust strategies for better performance.
    • Submit timely sales reports and performance reviews to management.
  7. Promotional Activities:

    • Execute Nestlé's promotional plans and track the success of these activities.
    • Coordinate with the marketing team to plan in-store promotions, displays, and branding initiatives.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a sales or distribution role, preferably in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
    • Familiarity with local market trends and distribution channels.
  • Language: Fluent in both Bangla and English.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
