 Territory Sales Manager



Job Overview:

Fu-Wang Foods Ltd., one of the leading food manufacturing companies in the country, is seeking a dynamic and motivated Territory Sales Manager to drive the growth and development of our sales in a designated territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding the sales network, meeting sales targets, building strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and ensuring the execution of the company’s sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achievement: Achieve sales targets set by the company in the designated territory by effectively managing the sales team, distributors, and retail partners.
  • Market Development: Identify new opportunities to grow sales volume and distribution channels within the territory.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and retailers to drive brand visibility and sales performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the sales team in the territory to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct regular market research to understand competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences, and provide feedback to the senior management team.
  • Sales Planning & Execution: Develop and implement sales plans to expand market reach and maximize sales in assigned regions.
  • Order Management: Monitor stock levels, ensure timely order placement, and manage supply chain coordination to avoid stock-outs or overstocking.
  • Promotional Activities: Coordinate with the marketing department to implement promotional activities, advertising campaigns, and trade programs that drive product awareness and sales.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and competitor activities to the Regional Sales Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
    • Proficiency in sales forecasting, market analysis, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
    • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Geographical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the territory’s market dynamics and customer base.
  • Other Requirements: Willingness to travel frequently within the designated territory.
