 Territory Sales Officer



Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets in the assigned territory by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and expanding the customer base.
  • Market Expansion: Develop strategies to increase market penetration and visibility of Kazi & Kazi Tea products in retail outlets, supermarkets, and other relevant sales channels.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders. Provide support to ensure product availability and proper display in the market.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management, outlining sales activities, competitor analysis, and market trends in the territory.
  • Brand Promotion: Work closely with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns and activities to increase brand awareness and product visibility.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market data, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies and recommendations to management.
  • Order Management: Ensure timely collection and processing of orders, including follow-up on payments and product delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a sales or marketing role, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.
  • Strong understanding of the local market and distribution networks.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
