 Territory Sales Manager


Job Summary:

Meghna Group of Industries is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to lead and manage the sales operations in a designated region. The TSM will be responsible for driving the sales strategy, managing a team of sales representatives, maintaining relationships with key distributors, and achieving sales targets to contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Execution: Implement and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the assigned territory.
  • Team Management: Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives to ensure they meet their individual and collective goals.
  • Distributor Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and wholesalers in the assigned region.
  • Market Development: Identify new business opportunities and expand the market by increasing product visibility and availability.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Analyze sales trends, prepare forecasts, and provide regular sales performance reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Product Promotion: Ensure effective product positioning, promotional activities, and customer engagement to drive brand awareness.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities are in compliance with company policies and relevant legal regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in FMCG or a similar industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth in a competitive market.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in sales forecasting.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
