Territory Sales Officer
Job Summary:
Navana Group is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Officer to manage and grow sales in a designated geographical area. The individual will be responsible for ensuring effective market penetration, achieving sales targets, maintaining strong customer relationships, and promoting Navana's diverse range of products.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Target Achievement:
- Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives within the assigned territory.
- Implement effective sales strategies to capture market share and drive revenue growth.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to propose tactical initiatives.
Market Penetration:
- Identify potential markets and customers within the territory.
- Expand the company’s customer base by acquiring new clients and nurturing relationships with existing ones.
- Ensure effective distribution and availability of Navana's products in retail and wholesale channels.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Address customer complaints and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Regularly visit key accounts to foster positive relationships and gather market intelligence.
Sales Monitoring & Reporting:
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales progress and ensure all sales data is accurately recorded.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on sales trends and customer feedback.
Promotional Activities:
- Plan and execute promotional activities, campaigns, and events to boost brand visibility.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement in-store promotions and ensure effective merchandising.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the distribution and supply chain teams to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with marketing, finance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG or manufacturing industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
