 Territory Sales Officer


Bengal Group is seeking a proactive and results-driven Territory Sales Officer to manage and expand sales operations within an assigned geographic area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing strong customer relationships, and driving market penetration for the company’s products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the management.

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities.

  • Visit dealers, retailers, and distributors regularly to ensure product availability and visibility.

  • Implement and monitor promotional activities and product campaigns within the territory.

  • Collect and analyze market intelligence on competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.

  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the Area Sales Manager.

  • Ensure timely collection of payments from clients and resolve outstanding issues.

  • Train and support the sales network to improve their performance and product knowledge.

  • Uphold the company’s brand image and values while representing Bengal Group in the field.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of experience in territory or field sales, preferably in FMCG, consumer goods, or industrial products.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Good knowledge of local market dynamics.

  • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the assigned territory.

  • Proficient in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
