 Territory Sales Officer (TSO)

Job Purpose

As a Territory Sales Officer, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, building strong customer relationships, and executing in-store activities within an assigned territory. You will act as a key point of contact between PepsiCo and its customers, ensuring distribution, merchandising, and promotions are executed effectively.


Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales, distribution, and visibility targets for the assigned territory.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other partners.

  • Ensure the proper execution of marketing and promotional activities at the store level.

  • Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports on achievements and market feedback.

  • Identify new business opportunities and implement plans to grow market share.

  • Ensure the availability and visibility of all PepsiCo products according to the company’s standards.

  • Manage distributor inventory and ensure effective order management and replenishment.

  • Work closely with the Area Sales Manager to execute market development plans.

  • Resolve customer complaints and provide timely support to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor competitor activity and share insights with the management team.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) sector.

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to analyze sales data and develop action plans.

  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
