Territory Sales Officer (TSO)

Job Responsibilities:

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders.

Execute sales strategies and promotional activities to enhance product visibility and market share.

Conduct regular market visits to ensure product availability, price monitoring, and competitor analysis.

Identify new business opportunities and negotiate contracts with potential clients.

Collect and report market intelligence on competitors' activities, pricing strategies, and new products.

Ensure timely collection of payments and minimize outstanding dues.

Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products.

Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager.

Train and guide sales representatives and promoters assigned within the territory.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. (MBA is a plus)

1–3 years of experience in FMCG or similar industries in a sales/territory management role.

Strong understanding of sales principles, channel distribution, and retail dynamics.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
