Territory Sales Officer
As a Territory Sales Officer at Reckitt Benckiser (Bangladesh) PLC, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth and ensuring the availability of Reckitt products across your assigned territory. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and other key stakeholders to maximize product visibility and market penetration. This position demands a combination of strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of sales and marketing techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Target Achievement: Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets in your assigned territory by implementing effective sales strategies.
- Retailer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers and distributors, ensuring proper availability of Reckitt products.
- Route Planning: Efficiently manage route planning and visits to maximize coverage, product distribution, and retail sales.
- Product Launch and Promotions: Execute new product launches and promotional activities to create demand and increase brand awareness.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research, identify potential sales opportunities, and provide timely insights into competitors’ activities and market trends.
- Merchandising and Display: Ensure optimal product placement, displays, and visibility of Reckitt products at retail outlets in accordance with merchandising standards.
- Distributor Management: Collaborate with distributors to ensure timely order fulfillment, stock replenishment, and compliance with company policies.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, retailer feedback, and market conditions. Prepare and submit reports to the sales manager on a regular basis.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any product-related issues or concerns raised by customers or retailers in a timely and effective manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of sales experience in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) industry, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and sales reporting tools.
- Must be willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
