Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Territory Sales Officer (TSO) to manage and oversee sales operations within an assigned territory. The TSO will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing strong customer relationships, increasing brand visibility, and executing promotional strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the growth and success of Bengal Group's business portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achievement:
    Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.

  • Market Development:
    Identify new business opportunities by increasing product visibility and market penetration. Drive product awareness and market share by implementing effective sales strategies.

  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and key customers. Address customer queries, complaints, and ensure satisfaction through timely support.

  • Sales and Distribution Monitoring:
    Regularly monitor stock levels, distribution channels, and ensure the timely supply of products to meet market demand.

  • Market Research and Competitor Analysis:
    Conduct market research to gather insights on customer preferences, competitor activities, and emerging trends. Provide feedback and suggestions to the sales team and management for strategic decision-making.

  • Promotional Activities:
    Implement and manage promotional campaigns, offers, and sales drives in coordination with marketing teams. Ensure proper display of promotional materials in outlets.

  • Reporting and Analysis:
    Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and market analysis. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports to track progress and identify areas of improvement.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience:
    2-3 years of experience in sales, particularly in FMCG, consumer goods, or related industries. Experience in a similar role will be an added advantage.

  • Skills:

    • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
    • Strong understanding of local market dynamics and customer behavior.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Other Requirements:

    • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
    • Ability to drive a motorcycle (with valid driving license) will be preferred.
