Aarong, one of Bangladesh's leading lifestyle retail chains, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual for the role of Territory Sales Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing the sales operations within an assigned territory, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales strategies, and the ability to foster long-term relationships with customers and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet the company’s objectives.

    • Ensure territory sales targets and revenue goals are achieved or exceeded.

    • Analyze sales trends, market conditions, and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and risks.

  • Territory Management:

    • Manage all aspects of sales within the assigned territory, including planning, execution, and performance evaluation.

    • Monitor and ensure optimal stock levels in Aarong retail outlets within the territory.

    • Collaborate with store managers and sales teams to ensure a smooth flow of products and services.

  • Team Leadership & Development:

    • Lead, motivate, and coach the sales teams within the assigned territory to ensure optimal performance.

    • Provide ongoing training, mentoring, and support to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.

    • Conduct regular performance reviews and set action plans for team improvement.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

    • Handle customer queries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

    • Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and foster brand loyalty.

  • Sales Reporting & Analysis:

    • Prepare and present sales performance reports to senior management.

    • Track sales KPIs, review performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to improve results.

    • Provide insights and recommendations on product offerings, pricing, and promotions based on market demand and competition.

  • Market Expansion:

    • Identify new business opportunities and areas for expansion within the territory.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to drive promotional activities and campaigns that align with territory goals.

    • Conduct regular market research and surveys to assess customer needs and preferences.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in retail, FMCG, or lifestyle sectors.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive market.

  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing sales teams.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.

  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
