Territory Sales Officer
Job Overview:
The Coca-Cola Company is seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Officer to join our dynamic sales team. This role is integral in driving sales, building relationships with distributors, retailers, and ensuring the efficient execution of sales strategies within an assigned geographical territory. The Territory Sales Officer will work closely with the sales team to achieve business growth, maximize market share, and ensure that the Coca-Cola brand continues to lead in the beverage industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Distribution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and distributors, ensuring excellent service levels.
- Identify and target potential new customers and opportunities to grow the customer base.
- Manage the execution of promotional and marketing activities within the territory to boost brand visibility and product sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment.
Market Analysis and Business Development:
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to adjust sales strategies as needed.
- Gather market intelligence and provide regular reports on sales performance, market conditions, and emerging opportunities.
- Propose new strategies to increase sales and improve market penetration in collaboration with senior management.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Act as a primary point of contact for customers, addressing their needs, concerns, and inquiries promptly.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements within the company’s guidelines to maximize profitability.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Track sales performance regularly and report on progress towards achieving targets.
- Analyze sales data and provide recommendations to optimize performance.
- Work closely with the sales manager to develop plans for growth and improvement in key areas.
Compliance and Brand Integrity:
- Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards.
- Uphold the Coca-Cola brand values in all sales efforts and interactions with customers.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or beverage industry.
- Strong understanding of territory management, sales principles, and negotiation tactics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-oriented approach.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and sales software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
