Territory Sales Manager
Job Summary:
Akij Group, one of the leading industrial conglomerates in Bangladesh, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our team. The individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing sales activities within an assigned territory, driving revenue growth, and building strong relationships with key clients and distributors. This role requires an effective leader who can implement sales strategies, motivate the sales team, and ensure the company's products reach their target markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory Management: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets in the assigned territory. Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective planning and execution.
- Distributor & Dealer Management: Build and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, and retailers. Ensure availability and visibility of products at all points of sale.
- Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to enhance their performance. Set clear targets and objectives for the team and monitor their progress.
- Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty to Akij products.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential sales opportunities, customer needs, and competition.
- Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report on sales performance, market conditions, and competitors. Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Product Promotion: Execute marketing and promotional campaigns to drive brand visibility and sales growth within the territory.
- Budget Management: Manage territory budgets and expenses, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA will be an added advantage.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or consumer goods. Previous experience in a sales leadership role is preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends. Proficient in MS Office.
- Languages: Fluent in English and Bengali (both written and verbal).
- Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
