Job Summary:
The Territory Sales Officer will be responsible for achieving sales targets and expanding market share within an assigned geographical area. This role involves managing distributor and retail relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the effective execution of sales strategies to support the company’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets in the assigned territory

Identify and onboard new distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction

Monitor competitor activities and market trends to adjust sales strategies accordingly

Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to the Regional Sales Manager

Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company credit policies

Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure product availability and timely deliveries

Conduct promotional activities and in-store branding initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team

Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and other networking events to promote company products
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

Minimum of 2–4 years of sales experience in the FMCG sector, preferably in food & beverages

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills

Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the territory

Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of CRM systems is an advantage
-
A valid driver’s license
