    Design/Printing/Publishing, Group of Companies, E-commerce

Responsibilities & Context

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for academic and creative books within the assigned territory.
  • Identify new schools, tuition centers, and book retailers to expand market coverage.
  • Promote new titles and series effectively to teachers, headmasters, and book distributors.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with teachers and academic decision-makers.
  • Visit markets, schools, and shops as per route plan and submit daily visit and sales reports to the Area Sales Manager.
  • Collect market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure visibility of Captain Publishers’ products through merchandising and display at retail points.
  • Actively support book fairs, promotional campaigns, and teacher engagement events.
  • Ensure effective product rotation and avoid stock-outs or overstocking issues.
  • Work closely with the MIS & Communication team to ensure report accuracy and expense accountability.
  • Maintain discipline, professionalism, and brand image in the field.
