Territory Sales Officer(TSO)
Requirements
Experience
- 2 to 5 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Design/Printing/Publishing, Group of Companies, E-commerce
Responsibilities & Context
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for academic and creative books within the assigned territory.
- Identify new schools, tuition centers, and book retailers to expand market coverage.
- Promote new titles and series effectively to teachers, headmasters, and book distributors.
- Develop strong professional relationships with teachers and academic decision-makers.
- Visit markets, schools, and shops as per route plan and submit daily visit and sales reports to the Area Sales Manager.
- Collect market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Ensure visibility of Captain Publishers’ products through merchandising and display at retail points.
- Actively support book fairs, promotional campaigns, and teacher engagement events.
- Ensure effective product rotation and avoid stock-outs or overstocking issues.
- Work closely with the MIS & Communication team to ensure report accuracy and expense accountability.
- Maintain discipline, professionalism, and brand image in the field.
