Territory Sales Manager
Position Summary:
Japan Tobacco International (JTI) Bangladesh is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in a designated territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distribution networks, and building strong relationships with retailers and distributors. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in executing sales strategies and ensuring the consistent availability and visibility of JTI products in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy Execution: Implement and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets in the assigned territory.
- Market Development: Identify new business opportunities within the territory and work on expanding JTI’s market presence.
- Distributor Management: Collaborate with distributors and ensure efficient product distribution, stock management, and timely deliveries.
- Retailer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, ensuring product availability and brand visibility at all times.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and provide regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and motivation to achieve individual and team goals.
- Compliance: Ensure that all sales activities adhere to JTI’s policies and local regulatory guidelines.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG or tobacco industry.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Language: Fluency in Bengali and English is required.
- Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
